We adopted a young chihuahua mix who came from a hoarding situation. So he was doing his business everywhere. He was too excited to do it outside. Started with pads, which helped but he kept missing them. Decided to try the belly bands. Going on third day and he is already holding it until we get outside. He hates having anything on his body, collar, coat etc., freaks him out, but he is tolerating these well. The Velcro is very strong and it hasn’t leaked. I did put a sanitary pad in also so he can wear the same one repeatedly and with the plaid it looks like he’s wearing a kilt! He is a taller/ longer body chihuahua at 17 lbs but has a very slim build so I thought small. I took his measurements and on their chart he came up medium. They fit perfectly. The Velcro is wide/long enough to be somewhat adjustable. Measure your dog AND use the chart to figure the size. In some reviews it’s noted that they run small, so I suggest if you can’t measure your dog and they normally wear a certain size, probably order the next size up.
