Small Diameter and Strong as Steel.

I happened up on this line some years. ago. One of the reels I use it on is my Mitchell 300 reel. The diameter of the line is really small, so you can load the whole 150yds without overfilling the spool. It is extremely strong too, easily land 20 pound redfish on the 12%23 Gliss. The diameter of this one is so small, you wont need a fluorocarbon leader, even if using an artificial worm for bass. I just recently bought the 40%23 Gliss to spool my Penn 4500 for Red Snapper in the Gulf of America. The line casts extremely smooth and fishig knots hold well. I've yet had a fish to break it. It'd be great if they sold 300yd spools too.

Best line ever!

I don't agree with other negative review on this site. This line is incredibly strong, amazingly thin, and super smooth and will out cast any other line by far. Because it is so thin and smooth, conventional knot tying techniques have to be modified. A lost fish may be due to a knot slipping, but not a broken line. You need to add at least one more loop to your palamar or trilene knot. There is some knot tying guidance on the box. Practice first before you loose the fish. Tie your knot and put on some thick gloves and pull as hard as you can to test your knot method. Once you have a knot tying method you can have confidence in, you won't loose any fish. The best line ever.
