Very satisfied.

I love knowing that we are not wasting energy heating water when we don't need it. Be advised there are only 2 adults and we live in a 1500 SF cabin but we have all the hot water we need and the temperature is piping hot. The hot water does not take any longer to reach our 2nd story master bath than it did with the conventional water heater.

Decent but slow to heat.

This unit does what its supposed to do - it heats water. Once the heated water reaches the tap, it's great. Consistently hot. The problem is that there is no return or circulation, so getting that water from the heater to your tap can be longer than you may be used to with any other type of water heater. I dont necessarily blame the manufacturer for this. I blame our local Londonderry NH based "general contractor" who charged premium prices for budget level products. Seemed to be his theme. If I had a more reputable contractor, maybe they would have given me more options - like the better models with circulation. I would recommend folks spend the extra $ and buy one of those.
