Demolished Mother's birthday.

This was a gift that my siblings and I got for my mother on her 69th birthday. Sadly, she hasn't ridden it yet. Rather of being closer to the handle bars, the pedals are almost exactly below the seat. Because of this, riding becomes extremely painful and almost impossible. The directions weren't horrible, but they weren't fantastic either, and assembly was an absolute headache.

However, try not to attempt this at home Decent trike.

Unless you have years of experience working in a bike shop, as I did, you should take it to a reputable cycle shop and have them chastise it into submission...Assembly took me two hours, primarily due to unwrapping and repairing rear mainframe dropouts, which resulted in a bent box that had obviously been placed on end.

Simple To Disengage Programmed Pedal Help.

This bicycle is fantastic. As previously stated, the electric assist activates at maximum force whenever the accelerator is depressed. However, as others have noted, this can be changed by unscrewing the wiring box situated below the battery. Identify the wire leading from the pedal assist located to the right of the pedal gear. Disconnect the corresponding switch and re-close the wiring compartment.
