Verified Purchase

A traditional line that passses the tgest of time

Best line there is for knots that hold, memory, tangle and abrasion resistance. Real test is with big fish on. Maxima Chameleon is the champ and has been since I took a fishing a course with the London (UK) Anglers Association in 1973 and was advised this was the best line to use from 1 lb to 30 lb. It may not be the thinnest or the most invisible line, but it's one you can trust when conditions are tough. It is also the longest lasting line and most consistent. I have never had my Chameleon line leave white powder when I run it through my fingers.

Stands tough!

I have been using this for float fishing among wood and snags and it is some of the most abrasive resistant line that stands up to the abuse. It also has a sinking characteristic that is very desirable to float fishing. Would recommend!

Verified Purchase

Not as pictured, titled, or described!

Ordered the product for store pickup in multiple line weights. When I went to pick up I found out that this is not what is pictured, described, or was titled. It is instead just leader line maybe 17 yards. A big difference from the 220 yards I thought I ordered. Customer service at the local Walmart was outstanding though, and they did everything possible to correct this. Unfortunately they do not carry this product in-store and there is a disconnect between stores and the Walmart online business (it seems they are competitors and not the same organization.) I'll stick to keeping my Walmart business at the store level and stay away from their online model (this isn't the first error I have had with ordering from Walmart online). The local Manager (Patrick) definitely earned my respect and business with the way he handled the "mix up".
