Nice product but need to be made more durable

We bought this to use in our RV about a year ago. It work well but after a few trips the gears for the width adjustment seem to have worn out rather quickly and will not hold the phone well any longer. Also the attachment point on the back seems to have worn a bit also and can pop off the adjustable arm. We don't take the phone holder of the arm normally so that is surprising that part has worn.
