Restored HP Elitebook 835 G8 13.3" Laptop AMD RYZEN 5 PRO 2.30GHz 16 GB 256 GB SSD W10P (Refurbished)

I replaced an HP 320G2 with a HP 835G8. This refurb laptop purchase cost another $300 in repairs, spending 2 months at a computer shop immediately following receipt. Ostensibly I wanted to have my old hard drive cloned to this newer laptop. This never happened. What occurred was a long saga with too many issues and actions to list. It included the repair experts purchasing another laptop of the same model for parts, including motherboard, wifi, ram, and keyboard. Other problems included Win11 download issues, and errors connecting to the internet. Why didn't I return it? I didn't expect the seller would repair it, only provide a refund, and I'd already purchased insurance and peripherals. Why didn't I use the insurance? Because it doesn't take effect for 30 days.
