Sadly, these are the newer version, not the old.

Unfortunately, Scotch Brite updated this item to a cheaper one with terrible bristles (fewer and very firm), plus the handle is hollow and awful. The product picture indicated the older version which is what I thought I was getting. These will be used mostly in the garden, but it's really a shame that they are so cheaply made now. Definitely not the same product as previously. The search continues for a high quality kitchen scrub brush.
