Not sure why the reviews seem so bad, the communication with the company has been wonderful I received a piece that was defective but the promptly responded back to me and are sending a replacement. I w point say the couch is dark gray but more of a blue dark gray, the couch in my opinion is comfy I keep falling asleep in it. I like the material as it easy to clean and very soft. The couch is low but if your look for a mid century vibe that's what your will get. I'm overall very pleased with the couch, I'm glad I don't go by some of the reviews as some of them were negative baseless reviews.
