My underground dog fence works like new

I purchased this after my dog wire got cut. I tried electrical tape to fix it but it didn't work all the time. My chocolate Lab would let the transmitter on the collar beep then she would run through it because it would take a little while for it to reset or for the electrical current to get back around to where she was. After I fixed it with this, she hasn't left the yard at all and trust me when I say she has tested it to see if it was working, plus I don't have to set the transmitter up as high. The fence is like it was when I first purchased it. Thank you!!
