I use the recipe on the package. yet use all brown sugar . I spread dough in the cookiesheet lined with parchment paper.. I saved the pkg that had that recipe. they also melt easily for the marshmallow fudge I prefer the dark chocolate over milk chocolate.. I prefer to add walnuts as my sister is allergic to pecans which I sometimes use . I have switched from making large 8 to a sheet for kids and service lunch at auctions to 16 small cookies per sheet. I've baked for 75 years..started when I was 10

I love to eat these two or three at a time as my dark chocolate treat. These dark chocolate chips are fantastic. They melt easily, add a tablespoon of coconut oil or butter, melt in the microwave and voilà! Makes ia fantastic frosting or drizzle and it hardens as it cools. My favorite is for the liquid chocolate over coconut popsicles, does not get any better than that.
