im sure its fine for small dog..but not appropriate for big dogs..i have great dane pupp..hes 4 months old and 52lbs..and harness was thin straps that couldn't hold my dog,he was able to loosen straps just by pulling away just like puppies do and slip right out of it..hope this helps
