The Art of Shaving Shaving Cream, Lavender

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off this the Shaving Cream was nothing like the shave creams I have used in the past. It was not overly thick while not thin to the point of creating shaving apprehension, where my fear of applying to much pressure would lead to nicks. Ive used shave creams and soap pads in the past that require quite a bit of build up to get the same results as what I can achieve with a couple minute rise and hot water with the Shaving Cream. I am accustomed to 10 minute hot water soaks for the shaving brush then vigorous swirling of the brush to work up a decent lather. Shaving in such a manner became a luxury reserved for weekends. Now I can enjoy the same level of lather every day! I highly recommend the shave cream it is a must have for any wet shave kit.

I love the lavender shaving cream by The Art of Shaving. I wandered into the store one day and was skeptically sold on a starter kit. From the moment I tried it I was hooked. It is much better than traditional shaving cream. It turns shaving from a chore to an experience. I now shave my head several times a week and shave almost daily whereas before I put it off as often as possible. I really like the lavender scent and it's not overly masculine so my wife sometimes uses it as well.
