We haven't had a fire so I am unable to say whether it worked. I am assuming that it is an excellent product and sincerely hope that it is. I am giving it 5 stars as it says it is an excellent product and no one posted any complaints. I think we all need something like this in the kitchen. I believe that it is easier to use than the heavy fire extinguishers. I am still not sure that I can pull the ring and know how to operate the fire extinguishers we have and I know I can pull the tags and use a fire blanket. This one is going to be a Christmas present for my daughter.

I was very happy to receive these fire blankets. I plan to use them as gifts my grandchildren for Christmas. The instructions are clearly written and easily understood.
