The spools are exactly as shown in photos.  This spool has the larger center hole needed for the Olivetti spindle.  This is NOT a universal spool as it is designed for the Olivetti Typewriters

 

These Typewriter Ribbons are 1/2 In. x 16 yards. This has a Special Olivetti custom 2 inch spool.

Just place them in your machine and start typing.

The picture is of the actual product you will be receiving: 1 black and red ribbon for the Olivetti typewriter
