Today I received this Jonpony Office Drafting Chair in exchange for my honest review. The chair came with all the pieces packaged well inside its original box. The instructions were very easy to read and understand. It took me about 25 minutes to assemble it. It was very easy to assemble. The tool was included that was needed for a.smooth assembly. The seat is very cushiony and soft. The back is mesh which I also find very comfortable. It has arm rests that lift up when not needed. The arm rests are not soft or covered in material but that's okay with me. Let's talk about the hydraulic lift, WOW is all I can say! It lifts more than any other office chair that I've ever had, when it goes up, it stays put until I let it back down. Overall this is a great office chair that I find very comfortable for sitting hours at my desk. I do highly recommend this chair.

This is heavy duty and it has a very comfortable deep seat that gives broad support to the lower thighs. The thickly padded seat is deeper than it is wide, not exceptionally wide but wider than most basic office chairs. The adjustable foot rest ring can be made just right for resting your heels on. The mesh back is very well ventilated and cool, with a lower back support pad right where you need it. The swivel caster wheel star is a large diameter for good stability in a high chair and it rolls smoothly over minor surface irregularities and thin carpet. The seat height adjustment is easy with a lever just under the seat. This is a heavy duty no frills product at a very competitive price. There is no lean back adjustment to the seat but the chairs with that feature and a cast metal wheel base cost far more. I added some spacing washers to the seat mount so it leans back a bit more but the mesh does give as you lean on it. The flip up arms are ideally placed, with no sharp corners. Assembly is straight forward, with a huge clear instruction sheet that can be read from 6 feet away. If you have a 5 mm hex drive bit for your drill the assembly will go faster but there is an allen wrench included. The screws have loctite pre-applied to their threads to reduce loosening over time. This is a huge upgrade from the wooden stool I had in my workshop with an elevated work bench! I weigh almost 300 pounds so I know what is required for a safe comfortable drafting chair and this is a solid value.
