Just what I was looking for

It is almost a perfect fit for the medium kennel (mine goes up a bit on the right side the way I put it in but my dog likes it like that. It's like a couch/bed for her to rest her head on the side.) It really is waterproof as long as your dog doesn't chew it up. I have washed the cover a few times a week and it is easy to take off to wash and it's not bulky like washing a full bed. In the pictures below, the one where the side goes up a bit, it's in a medium kennel. The picture with two dogs in the kennel is the bed in a large kennel. This gives an idea of the fit. I got the 36”x27” bed.
