I really like this drape rod so far. I haven't got my drapes picked out yet, but this rod seems strong enough to support the heaviest of drapes. It comes with a middle bracket to help support the rod that is also bronze finish. It was super easy to mount, and simple to extend to full length.

First times a charm!

What a concept! This is the first time a curtain rod went up with no do overs and addition oops mistakes! The rod itself is very nice material and is heavy duty. The finish gives a nice muted shine. I chose white. We did need to use the center support as my curtains were on the heavy side but once you got the rod up it was simple to add the center support!
