Product details
Size: Base is 3-1 / 2 in x 1 in. Two 1/4 in dia. Handle is 5 "long. The size between the rivet mounting holes is 2-3 / 4 "center to center. Fit for: Dometic and A and E 8500 and 9000 manual patio awnings. Function: This awning handle is used to lift and lock the adjustable awning arm to make it stable. Installation Instructions: 1. Use a 3/16 in drill to drill out the rivets or remove the screws from the existing handle. 2. Place the new carry handle in the punched hole in the main arm and align the rivet holes. 3. Insert the rivet through holes on the main arm. 4. Place the hex nut on the rivet shaft against the rivet shoulder. The rivets will not hold properly to hold without using a nut. 5. Tighten the rivet with a rivet gun to secure the handle. 6. Repeat steps 3-5 on the second rivet.
