It packs a good amount of food. It gets cold super fast. I put in a bowl of water before adding the packages just to see how long it would take to freeze. Went fishing and came home, and the bowl of water was frozen solid (about 3 hrs.). I read somewhere that it would be loud, but that is definitely not the case for mine. Well worth the price :).
