Buyer beware of never getting your order

What I want to say is about the Elf (girl) that I ordered and Walmart on Dec 2nd and they said was being delivered the next week. I followed the product to my local Walmart according to them on the website on the 5th and was to be delivered to me on the 8th. I waited all day and frequently checked for the status that said out for delivery. Finally after 9 pm closer to 10 it says delayed the next day it says cancelled. I ordered this from Walmart instead of Amazon because they said it would be delivered sooner than Amazon. Had I ordered it from Amazon I would have had it. I called about it and the man said it was a technical blip or something like that. No way was that the truth, they scanned it in every step of the way and then all of the sudden they NEVER had it? HE ASSURED me it would never happen again and of course it did. He must have placed a second order for one that day and the VERY SAME thing happened. So buyer beware you aren't guaranteed anything no matter what they tell you.
