The tart juice and zesty rind are used to add flavor to a wide variety of dishes. They are a key ingredient in lemonade and are often used to flavor water, tea, and other beverages. Lemons are used in marinades, dressings, sauces, and baked goods. Slices of lemon are a common garnish for fish, meat, and drinks. In addition lemon peel and juice are used in some cleaning products, soaps, and detergents. The fragrant blossoms and leaves are used in wreaths and bouquets.
