When the net wraps a bale 3 to 4 times, dozens of strips engage on each layer. The combined holding force on a typical 5′ × 6′ bale (~1,500 lb per Texas A&M Extension) is many times the bale’s weight.
Per-strip tensile strength is the industry-standard rating for net wrap. It is not bale-weight capacity. Values may vary slightly by SKU.
