Very, very cute!
All you need are 2 AAA batteries for each lantern, and small Phillips screwdriver (the size used on eyeglasses). Everything else is included; glue, glitter, brushes, deco, assortment of fairies, lights, etc. Instructions are good, and a great craft project that you can actually use. The jar is plastic, a must when working with kids. Adults and kids, alike, would find this to be a great project. Had a child, 5-1/2 yrs, and so excited, helping by putting glue on jar and picking out her fairy, color of flower and ribbon. In the end, she has twin sisters 3 yrs old, and now they all have adorable night lights that they can turn on/off themselves. This would be a great party project for older children.

Great fairy lamp kit!
Purchased to be used as an indoor activity for a trio of 8-10 year old girls while on a family vacation. They were able to work on it by themselves for the most part, and the lamps ended up looking quite lovely! Hardest part to deal with was that there is a little very tiny screw that is used to keep the battery compartment locked that required an eyeglasses screwdriver to open. Also, the jars look like they could be glass but they are actually plastic.

Adorable little lanterns!
We made these cute fairy lanterns for my daughter's 4th birthday party goody bags. The jars are plastic, so they were great for little kids. The lights are battery powered (tiny screwdriver needed) and will be easy to replace. The kits were so much easier than buying all of the supplies separately. The lanterns were easy to complete (do over 2 days to let the glue dry) and turned out so cute!
