Intelligent, Friendly Design & Cleans Very Well

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) The door on my LG front-load washing machine spontaneously blew out when no one was home, after being mildly used for just 3 years. Researching for a new washer (top open? front open?), I decided I wanted another front-loader and saw this Maytag was at the top of several recommended lists. Though it cost double what the LG cost, I appreciate Maytag's clean, unfussy look, its intelligent design on the programs, and that there are not too many programs! or wash selections. It is quiet, large capacity and washes the clothes extremely well, while spinning them well so that the dryer is not used for long (when used). It is the nicest washer I have ever owned (numbering four now over nearly 40 years). Would highly recommend it to anyone.

Good machine

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) So far this washing machine has performed well. It replaced a smaller 20 year old front load washer. We love the larger capacity for washing bedding. The rubber seals are much better designed limiting hidden water and the risk of developing mold.

didn't know washers could be this great

It is easy to clean, fits a king duvet easily and gets my blue collar husband's work clothes clean on 1 cold water cycle. Cycles are shorter than our last model and I love that you can delay start to come home to clean laundry and not have it sitting wet for too long
