Most comfy affordable bed-feet to head!

This is a very heavy 131 lb bed, and came folded over in one piece (pic below), but very easy to set up in less than 15 minutes! The motors, power box, and 2 middle legs were already attached, so all we had to do was screw 4 legs on corners, put 2 triple A batteries (included) in remote, insert 2 metal mattress retainers into holes at end of bed (so mattress doesn't slide when moving), plugged in, and ready to go (input is 100-240 V)! The remote has 6 different positions, for both head and feet up, or down, or head, and foot ends separately. The only small problem I had was searching for a gold metal piece that helps screw leg in, but must of come loose during shipping, and found on other middle side, so clamped in hole to screw in. This most comfortable adjustable remote control bed is helping me to sleep better all night, having my head, and feet elevated for better circulation, not waking up in pain, especially with my 8 inch gel memory foam mattress (Better Homes and Garden-also Classic Brands) on top (pic). For under $400, comparing to other adjustable, and very expensive hospital beds, I can see how it got the name Affordamatic. Seems to be well made in China, holds up to 660 lbs (evenly set), with a 3 year limited warranty. The thin black material covering metal bed frame is 100 percent polyester and frame cleans easily with dry cloth. How nice to not have to prop 5 pillows up against my back, when I sit up to read, or use laptop now. Thanking God for this beautiful dream bed come true, and also very, very grateful to everyone at Classic Brand, and Wal-Mart, to allow me to review, and may God bless you always, too.

Affordable, STURDY, Wireless

Adjustable bed bases are expensive, but this one, being called Affordamatic, lives up to its name: affordable, and quality not any less than brand-names. It's sturdy and stable. Plus, it came entirely assembled already (more on assembly later), which makes things so easy. Just take it out of the box, plug it into the wall, and done. The folding zones are good as well. It folds in 2 places: one where your butt would be, and one where your legs would be. It's one size fits all, so it takes some time to adjust to it. We mainly use this to slightly raise the legs (just a little), for better blood flow. It has helped our sleep, especially me, since I am prone to just waking up in the middle of the night – a lot. The difference in the legs raised helps me get a good night sleep. The controller is super-responsive as well. Anytime I activate something with the controller, there's a single small click sound right before the motor starts working. I've learned to rely on that one click sound, and found that the controller and motor never lags. Also, the motors are really quiet. You can still hear it whirring as it does its job to fold and unfold the bed base, but it's a sound I can sleep through because it's that quiet. The motor is slow, but smooth. However, since it's slow, my spouse and I tend to just leave the bed as it is without putting it back into flat position every single day. Then again, we like the speed just fine. It would be alarming if it went any faster – wouldn't want any backs to break. Since I share a bed with my spouse, we don't really use the part that raises us to a sit position, mainly because we both can't agree on a comfortable position. But this would be good for a single sleeper. I can see this would especially help with anyone who is bed-ridden as well. By the way, remote came with batteries (which uses 2 AAA) - yay! Assembly: I was surprised how easy this was to assemble! Well, it actually came almost ENTIRELY ASSEMBLED (the legs are just twists on and is optional, and the bed wires at the end are just stick-it-in-the-hole kind-of-thing). So, it was really plug-and-play. However, if I had help, all I'd have to do was take it to the room and unwrap it, and plug it into the wall - but I didn't have any help, and it's a 130lbs item. So, I had to disassemble it into two-halves and bring it up the stairs by myself (I'm like 115lbs and I could do it). Sure, I've been told I'm good around tools, so I didn't have any trouble disassembling and assembling it, but it's super easy to do that anyone can do it. It's just a big nut, one on each side in the middle ends of the bed frame. Unplug the cables. Then move each half. Finally, reassemble. That's it. Even the remote was already paired up. I didn't have to do very much except doing some carrying. That being said, it is actually really sturdy. The entire thing IS 130lbs.

I finally have an adjustable bed!

I recently received the queen size Modern Sleep Adjustable Comfort Affordamatic 2.0 Adjustable Bed Base. It was delivered in a box that is about 5'X 4” and over 100 lbs., so just warning you that it takes two people to move it anywhere, and to get it set up. That being said, I cannot believe that I now have a bed where I can raise my head AND raise my feet with a remote control! Never would I have believed that I would be able to afford one of these beds! I already had a memory foam mattress and it fit perfectly on this frame. You will notice in the pictures that it has two guards at the end of the bed to help keep the mattress from sliding down, and so far is working great. The frame seems very sturdy (holds 660 lbs.), and has the two additional support legs in the middle of the bed, which is essential. This bed is very comfortable, remote works well, not too noisy, and raises your head and/or your feet to your desired position. Right now I do not have any kind of base/headboard around this frame and it looks fine. So happy with this. It's fantastic!
