This bundle includes 2 items: a Portable Winch PCW5000 Gas-Powered Capstan Pulling Winch and a PCA-1213M Double-Braided Polyester Rope. The Portable Winch PCW5000 is designed for pulling heavy loads, offering up to 2200 lbs. of pulling power on a single line. Bring down hung-up trees, pull heavy logs, animal carcass, get vehicles stuck out of the mud, and much more. Since this gas-powered pulling winch weighs only 35 lbs., it can be carried virtually anywhere. Applications include forestry, hunting, rescue, boating, snowmobiling, and much more. The PCW5000 operates on a capstan principle, so there is no limit on the rope length used. Tie the rope to the object needing to be pulled, wind the rope 3-4 times around the capstan drum. When the engine is running, the drum rotates continuously and the friction created by pulling on the free end of the rope pulls the object. This winch is to be used with any length of 1/2" (12 mm) diameter Double-Braided Polyester Rope (min. 3/8" diameter and max. 5/8" diameter). Includes PCA-1260 Polyester Sling (6.5' L x 2 3/8" W). NOTE: The capstan drum that comes standard (PCA-1110), which offers 2200 lbs. pulling force and 40' per minute pulling speed, can be swapped out with the PCA-1100 in order to increase pulling speed to 60' per minute. By doing this, however, you will lower your pulling force down to 1545 lbs. This is useful when you are willing to sacrifice pulling power for speed. The PCA-1213M Double-Braided Polyester Rope measures 328' long with a 1/2" diameter. The double braid construction makes this rope durable with low-stretch properties. Abrasion resistant rope is great to use with these winches when they are subject to heat and friction. Min. Break Strength: 7275 lbs.
