RED WING 6-Inch Chelsea Women Boots

I have now owned these boots for over 2 years and they still wear excellently. They took a short breaking in period to become as comfortable as they are, but I could now wear them without socks and not get a blister. They are waterproof which is great for fall and winter days when you want to wear something nicer than snow boots, and the Vibram soles provide excellent traction on slippery surfaces. Any scuffs or spots from water or salty snow melt wipe off easily. They are like very high quality winter boots but much more attractive. I had one small issue which was some fraying along the top edge of the elastic panel, but I took it into the shop where I bought them and the salesman fixed it for me for free.

I love these boots. I've owned pair of the Clara style for 3 years and knew I wanted my next boot to be a chelsea boot. Thinking I could save a little cash, I tried 3 different brands' chelsea boots and found none of them could compare to my Redwings in both style and construction. So I pulled the trigger and bought these two months ago. I have worn them about 5 times a week since! They fit great out of the box but required a short break in period to make them more comfortable on my pinky toes since they are on the narrower side. I took these in my true size 9. When I purchased my Claras, I was advised to size down a half size. While the 8.5s technically fit, I'm glad I went with my usual size in this style so I can wear warmer socks in the winter and my toes dont feel as cramped.
