Ronco 5 tray food dehydrator
AWESOME! I bought this for a friend for his birthday so he can make jerky and dog treats and he's going to go buy another one he loves it so much! I am thrilled to death that he loves it so much. He washed it, put it together and filled it with chicken breast strips and it was done in no time at all! Wonderful!! The only thing is there were really no instructions with it but it did have a few recipes so he easily figured it out from there. This was an inexpensive but fabulous gift that I really was proud to give! I already have 2 but different brands that take a LOOOOOOOOOOONG time to get the job done, I may need to get a RONCO! LOL If you're in the least bit interested in dehydrating foods, herbs or anything else for that matter I think this is the one to get. It is by far one of the best for the least expenditure!

Very Simple to use!
I've never dehydrated before - so this was very nice for me in that it was simple and easy with many helpful tips in the manual. I have so far prepared apricots and bananas and currently drying some kidney beans. You do need to rotate the trays every 2-4 hours which was a bit of a challenge for the fruit which took a couple of days. I turned it off when I went to bed - which extended drying time but ensured more even results. Unit is very quiet - you don't hear a thing while it is running. I am very pleased!
