great cabinet for small spaces. We live in a small 720sq ft trailer and don't have a coat closet. It fit beautifully in the tiny 1 foot space by the front door. we use it for shoes, my purse, car keys, sunglasses... basically what you would find in a coat closet other than coats. we even bought a second for the bathroom as a linen closet. holds all our towels, wash clothes, and all our bath products. i left out the shelf in the bottom cabinet and found a hamper that fit beautifully. i use it for the whites. i would not have guessed an 11" cupboard could hold so much, but it makes excellent use of vertical space. would not recommend for heavy items. the heaviest thing we have in it is shoes.

Overall this is a good cabinet for the price. I looked at so many overpriced pantry cabinets with the measurements I needed and Walmart had this cabinet at the best price. I took off a star because of the off-gassing smell. It's pretty bad. I've had it put together for about a week now in hopes it would be aired out by now. I decided to start filling it today with sealed items as the smell is still slowly dissipating and I don't want it to get into non-airtight containers. It was relatively easy to put together if you are familiar with put-together furniture. The directions were a little vague in spots but I was able to figure it out. I used wood glue on the dowel parts for extra sturdiness. It's not provided or part of instructions but after putting many furniture items together I believe it makes a difference. The most annoying part of building it is the back. The holes do not match up when you screw in the backing. I ended up just making it work the best I could. Size-wise this will hold a lot. I needed something tall and narrow so it's working perfectly in that respect. It is a little on the cheap-feeling side but it has a nice aesthetic and doesn't necessarily look cheap. It may feel wobbly until you start filling it. They include a way to screw it to the wall but I wasn't able to because of the molding at the base of my wall. If you have kids or rambunctious pets, you may need the added security of attaching to the wall. As far as shipping goes, it came quickly but the box was wrecked. I was expecting to find broken pieces but it was packed securely so had no issues or missing parts.
