These a great! I wanted something to smooth my mom pooch out a little after 3 kids and decided to take a chance on these. The material is thick but didn't make me feel hot or sweaty and I've worn them twice now with no issues with rolling down. Compression is good but not cut-off-circulation and they are comfortable to be worn all day, walk around in, dance in, sit at a desk in. These will not take you from a size 8 to a 2 but they definitely hug and smooth in all the right places. The only criticism I have is that they are really long and can be pulled up all the way up past my bra. I like them so much, I already bought another pair in a different color! For reference, I am 5'2” 120 lbs with a short torso and a mom belly.
