The fiancée helped and didnt look 😡 so the screw he picked was a bit longer and poked out of the wood. they are very comfortable and they look great with my table! Great value for the price! We got 6 of these for our 11 foot long Island. They are sharp looking and seem fairly sturdy although we don't spend a grand amount of time on them personally. I do think the only thing I wish they had were just a bit larger seat. They were really time consuming to assemble especially since we had 6.
