This is a versatile all-in-one gentle adhesive bordered silicone foam dressing. Five-layer construction is waterproof and provides a moist balance environment to promote optimal healing. Soft silicone contact layer is tacky to the touch. It does not stick to the moist wound bed but will adhere gently to the surrounding skin. This have been shown to lift fluid vertically with no lateral movement of exudate from the wound onto the surrounding skin. Not all soft silicone dressings are the same. The composition, thickness, perforation and coating method of soft silicone, are vital for the silicone layer to perform its best.
