An adjustable bed fits around the perfectly. I got this bed frame from warfare it was a platform bed but I didn't use the slats for the platform. I'm sure the frame will fit inside any bed frame if its the same size you ordered. I got 2 twin XL frames which makes a king size frame if you set them side by side or you can connect them with the bracket they send you. I love it. Sturdy heavy metal. It takes two people to assemble the frame. Noiseless!
