Easy to assemble. It feels sturdy. I recommend it for senior cats. If your cat doesn't use it at first, then give it time. My cat wasn't fond of it at first, but now he uses it every day. He wasn't used to it and needed my help to learn how to use it. I recommend leaving treats or toys on the steps. Rub some catnip on it. Coax them up with a churu or something they love. Once in a while, I'd even feed my cat his lunch on it.

We have a very tall bed and a short 70+lbs spoiled rotten pitbull princess. Do you see where this is going? She uses it to get up on bed but can jump down fine. It works great, she loves it so we love it. Make sure to put the thing together sticker treads & all before you let your use it.

Sturdy, decent price

I have bought a couple different doggy steps in the past couple of years that I just threw away because they were flimsy junk. This one was the same price and I was pleasantly surprised. It is plastic but firm and solid . I don't have to worry about it falling over or snapping into. You will probably have to coax your dog to walk up it by giving him a treat (if your doggy isn't used to steps.) I had to get these because my little dog hurt his back and could no longer jump up on the couch . He wasn't used to stairs. It took a piece of chicken on the top step and some enticing and Wa La ! Very useful . Plus it folds up so you can easily move it around. I like it!
