these work great. dont buy generic. youll notice a big difference with actual charcoal filtering. we rotate our water about 2 gallons a week with distilled we buy cheap at walmart and use a little water prep solution. no fish have died once we started this routine and regular filter changes. if they clog fast then you are feeding your fish too much.
