Cork coasters that are the real deal (not so thin that they crack right away) are not so easy to find anymore. Nice designs and i like that some designs are printed more lightly, not heavy black. Look good sitting out in the holder!

The coasters a poker game made me buy

It all started just before a poker game in our dining room when I noticed that our guests had (thoughtfully) placed folded paper towels under their drinks to protect the table. That's the moment I realized this house needed more coasters. Of course, plain coasters just weren't going cut it. They would not only have to be absorbent (cork is perfect for that) but also artful and especially good-looking. A set of 12 (12!) in a compact holder? Even better. Our friends returned last weekend for another poker game. The coasters made their debut, my table finish was saved, and I'm very pleased with this purchase.
