Long time user but disappointed

I have owned 4 pairs of these boots and am very familiar but the quality has dropped significantly. Here are the negatives: Fox no longer replaces soles for free. I am a weekend warrior mx rider and I put holes down to the red layer in both soles in under 6 months on stock pegs! Also the inner guard is shredded entirely down to the metal. The durability is terrible! I frequently have to wd-40 the buckles since they get difficult to lock down and if you force it, you will break a buckle off (I have done this). Also I adjust one of the straps about twice a day at the track since it feels tight at first then loosens up In the positive side: these boots are great right out of the box, are comfortable; and fairly light. The have good peg feel and the 2.0s have a shorter sole so you don't feel as tall on the bike which I preferred Overall if you want max comfort and okay replacing boots, soles, and inner guards then these are good. If you want something more durable then look at other brands
