I love this item. it is warm and since it has a tent like material on one side I take it camping. it does a great job of blocking wind when I am lounging by the camper. I believe it would work good for lay on the ground to protect from the ground but I don't plan on using it that way. it is also very soft and flexible so I do use it in my house also

Working great as a added layer of insulation

Working great I have to specify I bough this to add another layer of insulation to our inflatable hot tub to help keep the heat in. So far I don't feel any heat escaping and the tub has maintained heat with in 5 degrees of what I set it at with out the heating element on. Nice and light and when the tub has to come down for winter i have a really warm blanket to through on our bed.
