I recently received my JQ-3500B. Prior to doing so I had a few questions about it. I contacted Quick Products twice by e-mail and Sarah responded both times within 24 hours. She satisfactorily answered my questions. I have been in the Tech business for over 30 years and deal with companies by e-mail on a regular basis. Today e-mail is practically the only way to contact a company and very often it takes multiple attempts before anyone responds. It was refreshing to have someone respond so quickly. There are many companies selling this type of product. They all seem to have similar reviews, some good and some bad. So how do you choice which one? Customer service can possibly be very important in the ownership of this type of product. Due to their quick response I believe they will do the same if I have an issue. Therefore, I choice Quick Products. About the jack it does the job just fine. In other reviews people have complained that it was loud and slow. Well it does make noise (not that loud). What do you expect, it's a mechanical device moving a very heavy item? As for being slow I'm not sure how fast it needs to go. You're on vacation what's the hurry? It sure beats turning the crank handle on the manual jack. Earlier reviews complained about the manual being unclear or inaccurate about the installation. If they are older reviews they probably don't apply now. My jack as of June 2019 has 2 wires, black and white. Both connect to the battery. The kit comes with a circuit breaker that is attached to the end of the black wire which then connects to the positive battery terminal. The white wire goes to the negative terminal of the battery. The removal of the old jack and the installation of the new jack will take from 30 minutes to an hour depending on how good and clean of a job you want to do and your mechanical abilities. I recommend using an inline crimp connector for the circuit breaker and two ring type crimp connectors for the battery connection.
