Fedciory Cat Calming Collar, 12 pack

When I received my order and opened the package I was overwhelmed by the smell of lavender. I went ahead and placed the collar on my cat, but could barely stand to have him near me. He slept for 2 days straight and could barely get up to eat. Today my husband decided to check the fit of his collar and found that he couldn't fit two fingers under it, although I could. The problem was that once the collar clicks on to the lock mechanism it does NOT stretch to allow the cat to escape the collar if it gets caught on anything. He tried pulling it over his head and again was unable to get it off of him. My husband ended up having to cut it off from the cat's neck. I hadn't realized that it wouldn't stretch to allow him to escape a dangerous situation. Since we love our cats, I would NEVER recommend this item to other cat owners!!! If a cat gets the collar caught on anything, it would end in tragedy. The cat would die because they would choke to death on a collar that doesn't stretch to allow them to get their heads out. If I could have given no stars, I would have done so. And the fact that it has such an overwhelming scent to not only me but to the cat, Whose sense of smell is so much stronger than mine, I was trying to help my cat calm down, but only ended up hurting him with this product. DO NOT ORDER THIS PRODUCT IF YOU LOVE YOUR CAT!!!
