I purchased an end table lamp last year. It takes a 15 watt bulb. Well the bulb burned out, so that set me on my lightbulb journey. Well, I quickly learned that we have options... I found on Walmarts website a 9 Volt bulb that emits light like a 60 Watt bulb! So, I purchased a package and when they arrived, they did not disappoint. Its a warm bright light, not glaring. And only uses 9 volts of electric. According to the PKG. they last approximately 9 years.

very good quality light bulbs

as my son was screwing this new bulb in, he dropped it from the fixture located in the ceiling at the top of the stairs, we both tensed up waiting to hear it shatter, but it hit the step and bounced instead, all the way to the bottom of the stairs, hitting several steps along the way and landed on the concrete basement floor without a single scratch or bump and the bulb still works!

Nice Softer LED Light

I'm not usually a fan of LED light bulbs. They never last as long as the packaging promises, and most of the time the light is way too cold and harsh for my taste. I prefer a warmer, softer glow, and the typical LED “daylight” bulbs just make my space feel a bit uninviting. That said, these warm white 40-watt equivalent bulbs are actually pretty decent. The light they give off is much closer to the cozy, ambient tone I like—definitely more in line with traditional incandescent bulbs. They're also a better fit for smaller lamps since they don't get hot, and being lower wattage, they use less electricity and seem like a safer option, especially in older fixtures or enclosed shades. The pack of four is reasonably priced, which is nice because some LED bulbs can get weirdly expensive. I'll probably stick with these moving forward for areas where I want softer, moodier lighting—like the bedroom or living room. If you need something brighter for a kitchen or a workspace, though, these probably won't cut it. But for what I needed, they are perfect.
