Bought this to replace my dad's ancient 3-9x and man what a difference. The first thing commented on was the clarity. This one will likely be on the gun for another 20 years.

Reliable, Clear, and Smooth – A Solid Mid-Range Scope

The Athlon Talos 3-12x40 Mil-Dot proved to be an outstanding optic for the price. The glass is bright and clear, providing a crisp sight picture throughout the magnification range. Turret adjustments were smooth and consistent, and the reticle was simple but effective for basic holdovers. Just like the 4-16x version, the build quality feels solid, and zero held perfectly after extended use. It's an ideal choice for hunting or target shooting out to mid-range distances. Great performance at a great value.

Amazing Budget Scope

Put this scope on an AR for hunting yotes and plinking and couldn't be happier. For how cheap it is, I was pleasantly surprised with the glass quality as well as turrets and magnification ring. Eyebox gets pretty tight at higher magnifications and the image darkens up a little but that is to be expected with the value optics. Overall an amazing scope backed by a phenomenal warranty. Would buy again!
