Very easy to use and the ice is easy to chew. It's not actually little compressed pellets like Sonic. The ice is formed into a tiny little flat cube. They melt pretty fast but I appreciate the fact that I can still chew the ice without any issues.

this is a great little ice maker. it makes really good nugget ice. it's fast. it started working within 6 minutes. we had pieces coming out and within an hour the tray was full. mine is not noisy like other reviews have said ! I do believe it would put out 33 lb of ice a day as it's advertised. I do recommend this if you're looking for a nugget ice machine. it's a great value.
