Additional crossbeams under the storage shelves can further enhance the load-bearing capacity. The frame surface is treated with powder coating. Sturdy but loose
The shelves are metal like the posts but the tolerance is a bit loose so once you put it together you can't pickup and move the unit without everything falling apart so build it where your going to use it. Impressed with it coming with a small rubber mallet and gloves in the kit.
