Reminds me of our rounded toilet seats as a kid

Very sturdy. Thick rounded edges. Quiet-close which is wonderful. Toilet seats I have purchased for the last years are thin plastic. They are uncomfortable. This one is rounded and thick and comfortable. And as heavy as it is, it does not slam down like when we were kids. Love it. Husband just waled in and he says it is well made and he likes it too. Sturdy. Easy to install.

My significant other installed it and said that the ease of installation can't be beat. It came with all the needed hardware. The hinges not being big chunky white plastic is a much bigger visual upgrade in the bathroom than you would imagine. The slow close lid works great. The sturdiness of cheap plastic lids can't be compared to the wood ones like this.

As a British book and sitcom fancier. I know that Mayfair has long been a posh neighborhood. This toilet seat is very posh with its chrome fittings and slow close features, I truly feel I could be a real Mayfair resident! And I get a Benny Hill laugh every time I sit down!
