Works great

I don't go out doors a lot so I wanted to try the Neutrogena build-a-tan this says control your shade and it dries in only 5 minutes. The more you use it the darker your tan gets. This you use like a regular lotion you would apply to your body just makes sure you use it evenly and follow directions. This does have a nice scent not too strong at all and very easy to apply and use. So far I've tried it on my legs a couple of times and I do notice a difference I was going for a natural looking tan which this does give. They have a web site and a toll free number which I did call to ask about using it on my face as I know Neutrogena does have one for the face also they told me that I could use it on the face also but, not around the eyes. So I gave it a try and was hoping I wouldn't look like a raccoon. It did seem to work and also gave me a gradual looking natural tan as I was hoping for. I've used this product for about a week and a half now and I don't use it everyday either, just when I want to have a more healthy looking glow to me. This won't make you look orange at all like the old products or that some might still do. I have used Neutrogena products for years and it's also a trusted company. I'll keep this on hand and will continue to use it especially doing the cold winter months.

Super Tan

Neutrogena build a tan is a product that I will recommend highly, I used the product for seven straight days, once a day and got a great looking tan. I have two teenage granddaughters that are both cheerleaders and they said they would use this product. It has a great smell and the hand putting it on with did not get discolored.I have not used for a week and you can still see the tan. This product is very easy to use and a little bit goes along way. If your looking for a tan without the sun, this is the product for you.

Great product

Neutrogena Build a Tan gradual sunless lotion does exactly what is promises it gradually darkens the tone of your skin. It allows you to control the tanning effect without harmful exposure to tanning beds or the sun itself and you choose your shade with just few applications. The lotion has a fresh scent to it I did not find it too strong or offensive and it dissipated within couple of hours of application. Apply this product to clean skin, it dries within a minute or two. You can either apply few times a day for a quicker effect or on a daily basis. It takes few hours to reach fully developed color. I did it daily and achieved healthy sun kissed glow by day 3 and didn't really notice fading until 4 days after last application. The lotion goes it easily, no streaks, it has a soothing and moisturizing properties when applied. One important thing to remember with any sunless tanning product is to wash your hands after application to avoid unwanted color on the palms of your hands. I like this product and I recommend it as a safe and effective alternative to tanning beds any time of the year.
