Surge protector does it's intended job!

I'm using this in the bedroom where nothing requires a charging cube and cable! The TV, fan, heater for winter, CPAP machine, etc. (Just when did even a pencil sharpener need those things)?? This surge protector has a long enough cord to run from the opposite wall to where I need it. So far, it's withstood 4 or 5 thunderstorms when power went out in the house. Nothing plugged into it was affected and all appliances worked fine once power was restored.
