Philips Avent Natural Glass Bottle Baby Gift Set, SCD201/01

I purchased two of these bottle sets and they're one of my favorite purchases. The set comes with 3 four oz bottles with newborn nipples and 2 nine oz bottles with slow flow nipples. It also has two soothes pacifiers and a bottle sleeve for the 4 oz bottles. My little guy was born early at 35 weeks and he had a month and a half stay in the NICU due to feeding difficulties. The NICU had him on another popular bottle brand but he really had a lot of struggles. When we got home, we continued to use the NICU bottles and observed continued struggles and experienced the most complicated cleaning routines ever because the bottles had 6 different pieces that all needed a different brush. We decided to try out our Avent bottle set and instantly fell in love. The first observation we had was that our baby latched so easily on the Avent nipple. The larger surface made it easier for him to get a good latch and he had no leakage and much better suck, swallow, breathe success. The switch cut a lot of time off his feeding time and he wasn't fatigued from eating when he was done. We experienced no more gas or spitting up than the previous brand that was targeted at reducing these discomforts. The bottles are heavy duty glass and I don't worry about them breaking easily. I have comfort in knowing the glass won't leach any dangerous plastic chemicals to my baby. They have clear, pronounced measurement markings that make quick bottle prep a breeze and they warm quickly and evenly. This bottle set is SO easy to clean. I use one brush that cleans all the pieces and there's only 4 pieces including the lid! Mamas out there will love the time saving benefit from the ease of cleaning this bottle. Our baby sees a feeding therapist and we saw her yesterday. She agrees this bottle is a winner and the perfect fit for our little one. We've partnered the bottle set with the Avent Natural Response nipples as our little guy has gotten older to increase the flow as needed. Glass is super thick, durable and works well in the bottle warmer and dish washer. Also not worried about BPA and other chemicals that I would be if we were using plastic bottles.
