It works but I do not love it. I use it on the counter and opening the lid is a bit cumbersome I can not quiet figure it out. It needs some kind of a hook or lever. In the kitchen when you are cooking often your hands are sticky from working with food and you need to dispose of food stuff and pushing the cover open is hard. may be I can find a self stick hook and glue it to the top to push the cover open. stay tuned
